BIO
Hey, my name is Dave, and I would love to work with you. I have been running DCFOTOFILM in Calgary, Alberta, and internationally for over 15 years, gaining invaluable experience across all areas of video production. Today, I work primarily as a Cinematographer and Director of Photography, but I also direct, produce, and manage projects from start to finish—ensuring a seamless process for my clients.
My portfolio spans documentaries, commercials, marketing campaigns, and brand advertising. Whether it’s a large-scale production or a more intimate story, I bring the same creative energy and attention to detail. What sets me apart is my ability to maintain a clear vision throughout every stage of production, while balancing technical expertise with strong storytelling.
With years of experience behind the camera and in the producer’s seat, I understand how to bring together the right crew, gear, and creative direction to deliver work that resonates. From initial concept development through to post-production, I thrive on guiding projects end-to-end and making sure the final video aligns perfectly with my clients’ goals and branding.
